W.EG Poland is part of the global Würth Group brand, a leader in the wholesale distribution of electrotechnical products. As the owner of distribution companies, it offers comprehensive back-office services, including logistics, IT, financial and accounting, administrative, and marketing services, as well as human resources management for companies within the Group.

Determining customer’s needs

The desire to improve employee safety and achieve cost savings prompted the client to take advantage of our offer. Through the automation of fleet processes, the company reduced the involvement of the Fleet Manager and automated key activities related to fleet management. The main goals are to enhance safety, digitize operations, reduce the rate of incidents, and lower costs.

How did Ecologic help?

The client decided to implement Ecologic products, driven by the need to improve safety, digitize the fleet, and automate processes. By automating fleet processes, the company streamlined fleet management, making work significantly simpler and more efficient. The introduction of digital tools enabled full control over the vehicles, their technical condition, and usage history. Additionally, the introduction of Gamification allowed the company to organize a contest, which helped draw attention to undesirable driver habits and motivated employees to drive more safely.

The implementation of the Fleet Assistant application improved the daily work of both vehicle users and Fleet Managers. Employees gained quick and intuitive access to key information, such as the fuel card PIN, which significantly streamlined administrative processes.

The application allows drivers to instantly check the current condition of their vehicles and report any faults or comments directly from their phones. All reports are immediately sent to the system, providing the Fleet Manager with full real-time insight into the fleet’s condition. This enables quick decision-making, minimizes downtime, and ensures more efficient fleet management.

Additionally, the use of Ecologic Fleet allowed the automation of labor-intensive processes and provided full control over vehicles, their technical condition, usage history, damage reporting, and cost monitoring.

Incentive program

The Ecologic system has a built-in motivational tool that allows you to organise programs for employees, to encourage them to continually drive better. Competitions and challenges can be thematic.

Private mode

Drivers can turn on the private mode. They are not visible to the administrator during this time. Their trips and positions are not recorded.

PINs for fuel cards

PIN code assigned to specific car is available for driver directly in his mobile application.

Communication and automation

Current competition results, regulations, notifications regarding the incentive program – all of this is available to drivers in the Ecologic application. The system automatically provides employees with the information they need.

Technical inspection reminders

It allows you to set a date or a traveled distance after which a reminder will appear for vehicle technical inspections and service visits.

Fleet

An intelligent system for online fleet administration. All administrative and accounting information about the fleet in one system. Automatic cost settlement and generation of posting files. Automation of labor-intensive processes to save time.
